Introduction
Many veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan have survived multiple injuries because of advanced medicine. They are learning to live with limb amputations, traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder. And they will need care for the rest of their lives. Five veterans tell their stories of survival and recovery, as the VA works to help them.
