Liz Essley Whyte is a reporter for the Center for Public Integrity, where her investigative work has won a Gerald Loeb award, as well as honors from the National Press Club, Editor & Publisher, the Association of Health Care Journalists and more. She graduated summa cum laude from Hillsdale College and earned a master’s degree in journalism and public affairs from American University.
