Laura Zornosa is an intern reporter on the Center for Public Integrity’s federal politics team. She joined the Center for Public Integrity in 2019 as a Chips Quinn Scholar and an Emma Bowen Fellow. She has covered technology and religion in Cuba for Madrid’s ROOSTERGNN Global News Network, multiculturalism and intersectionality for the Chicago Tribune’s Hoy, and reproductive rights and local politics for the New York Times Student Journalism Institute. Zornosa is earning bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and International Studies at Northwestern University.
